A former Adams County Assistant State’s Attorney and Quincy School Board president hires two Springfield, Illinois attorneys to represent him in the case of the murder of his wife in 2006.

45 year old Curtis Lovelace has retained James Elmore and Jeff Page, who work for different law firms in Springfield, to represent him. Elmore is a Quincy native.

Lovelace is charged with first degree murder in the death of Cory Lovelace on Valentine’s Day, 2006.

Lovelace’s first court appearance with his attorneys is scheduled for October 9th in Adams County Circuit Court.
