2 Illinois Lottery Winners Still Don’t Know They’re Millionaires

I realize that calling someone clueless isn't exactly polite, but that's the situation for two in Illinois who just became millionaires a few days ago yet still don't seem to be aware of their good fortune - literally.

The Illinois Lottery says that there were two Powerball winners on October 11, 2025

On that day, someone in Illinois topped in this Road Ranger located at 890 E Highway  38 near Rochelle, Illinois.

Also on October 11, 2025, someone made a stop at this tiny Shell station located at 1350 Cleveland Road in Colona, Illinois.

The Illinois Lottery Unclaimed Jackpot and Prizes page says both people bought Powerball tickets on October 11, 2025 and both are now valued at just over $1 million dollars! Unfortunately, neither winner has stepped forward to claim their massive prize. That means there are two mystery millionaires in Illinois who don't seem to know their lives have suddenly been changed. There is the possibility that they DO know, but are in the process of getting their lawyers and accountants prepared for their new winnings. The good news is both have one full calendar year to contact the Illinois Lottery and claim these huge jackpots. There is the possibility that they both don't know they won and their tickets are in places where they could be lost. That would be a crying shame since that is life-changing money. Let's hope they both come forward soon.
