5 Times Guy Fieri Filmed Triple D Nation in Missouri

Guy Fieri has brought his TV episodes to Missouri many times, but one of his most recent shows has only been to the Show Me State 5 times that I can confirm and a couple have closed already. Let's dig in to some Missouri food television recent history with one of its most famous celebrities.

I did a search of databases from TV Maze, Foodie Pie and Rotten Tomatoes to tell the story of 5 Missouri places where Guy Fieri's Triple D Nation filmed episodes. This is a spin-off of his more famous Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives show.

I was surprised to learn that it appears two of those locations have closed since Guy Fieri was there. Blue Koi closed the Kansas City location and now appears to be open in Leawood, Kansas. Smokin' Guns BBQ & Catering in North Kansas City closed in November of 2022 after 20 years in business. It just proves the point even more that the restaurant business is a challenge even when you get a highly-publicized visit from one of TV's biggest food celebrities.
