I love the concept of traveling back in time. My understanding is no one has figured out how to do it yet, so this new video share showing a tractor pull in Mt. Sterling, Illinois might be as close as we get.

This "new" video share a few days ago is as retro as it gets. It's a video record of the July 31, 1999 Pro Stock pulling at Mt. Sterling, Illinois. Check out these vintage tractors showing off in the mud.

These days it's known as the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League event in Mt. Sterling. I believe the 2022 event happened back in August based on the Facebook event page. For reference and comparison to what it was like 23 years ago, here's video from this year's pull.

If you find a DeLorean than can achieve speeds of 88 mph, let me know. Until then, I'll just have to settle for retro video moments like this of life 23 summers ago in the mud of Mt. Sterling.
