Springfield, Missouri Finally to Be Featured in Upcoming PC Game
If you've ever thought to yourself, Springfield, Missouri would be a great setting for a video game, you're about to be very happy. One of the more popular PC games is about to add the city along with the rest of Missouri to its map.
Last time I checked, I have spent upwards of over 1,200 hours playing American Truck Simulator from SCS Software. It's one of the most relaxing things you can do on a computer as you deliver cargo all across America (or at least part of it as the map isn't done yet).
Missouri appears to be the next expansion to the American Truck Simulator universe and the company just shared new screenshots of how Springfield will look in the game. See how many landmarks you recognize.

SCS Software sends teams to scout each state they create maps for. When you see highways in Missouri end up in the game soon, you can know that someone from their company was in the state seeing exactly how they appear. I've been blown away by states I've lived in that are now in the game. They really do a great job of capturing the vibe of what a truck driver would see living life on the road even if it is miniaturized a bit for the sake of time.
