There’s a Drive-In in this Missouri Building, But It’s Not Movies
I saw on social media that a new drive-in was opening in Missouri and I got excited. Then, I learned it's located in a building and it's not showing movies. While that was a bummer, there are many more reasons to be excited about this place.
Since I don't get to the St. Louis area every day, I am not as in touch with what's happening in the big city as I used to be. I was alerted to a share on social media a few days ago by 4 Hands Brewing Company that a drive-in was coming, but it's not what you think. The drive-in they were referring to is Hi-Pointe Drive-In which is well-known in St. Louis, but not for movies.
Hi-Pointe Drive-In is known for having some of the best burgers in the St. Louis area and some say the world. They have opened up a new location inside the 4 Hands Brewing Company building at 1220 S 8th St in St. Louis and their first day of business there was last Friday, March 7, 2025.
If you like burgers, fries, shakes and like to have brews nearby, you now have a new option in that part of St. Louis. It's wonderful to be talking about a food place opening instead of closing for a change.
