Watch Electrifying Lightning Explode Over Southern Wisconsin

If you've ever tried to take a picture of lightning, you know it's difficult and potentially dangerous. One Wisconsin guy did it the safe and successful way and captured an incredible lighting display as it happened over southern Wisconsin just a few days ago.

The appropriately named Let's Do Stuff Big YouTube channel just shared this video recently from the tornado outbreak on May 21 in southern Wisconsin. He braved tornado warnings around him and safely used his GoPro to capture really amazing lightning as it happened. Here are a couple of snapshots from his video.

This humongous bolt was blinding and turned night into day for a brief second.

It's not a long video and well worth the time if you're a nature-loving Wisconsin thunderstorm fan. As he mentions in the description, the lightning show really gets going about 3 minutes into his video.
