It took me awhile, but I now think I fully understand why a Missouri rollercoaster has literally changed color overnight and has become very green.

Thanks again to my many good friends on the Missouri sub-Reddit for alerting me to the fact that a coaster has changed its color to a very stylish green. This is what the Mamba at Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, Missouri looked like prior to this conversion.

As many commenters on Reddit pointed out, a mamba is a snake and they are green. I've never heard of a red mamba, so I must wonder why that color was chosen in the first place. First world problems, right?

This is a great time of year to make changes to your coasters when most of the amusement parks have downtime during the Missouri winter months. Just know that next time you road trip to Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, the Mamba will look like an actual mamba, but hopefully without the snake venom.
