If you were one of the St. Louis Cardinals best players ever, what would your life be like? You don't have to daydream because the former Missouri mansion of a Cardinals great was shared by one of the most famous real estate brands in the world.

Zillow Gone Wild gave a tour of an unnamed St. Louis Cardinals great's former mansion. I know who it is, but let's see if you can guess just by looking at pictures of his former place

There are several big hints in the pictures, but if you haven't guessed it already, this was the Frontenac mansion of St. Louis Cardinals legend Jim Edmonds. That's confirmed by an article by Fox 2 in St. Louis late last year. He was likely the greatest center fielder in the team's history and I also appreciated his honesty in the broadcast booth where he spent a few years after his playing days were done. Word was that Jim was wanting a break from the St. Louis area late last year which is likely why this mansion was put on the market. I hope he returns to the St. Louis Cardinals in some form in the near future. The team is better with his influence around it. He obviously had great tastes in mansions, too.
