This is the Express Mart, 1001 W. Hwy 24 in Independence, Missouri. According to the unclaimed prizes site of the Missouri Lottery, this is the place where someone on July 28, 2025 stopped by and picked up a Show Me Cash ticket that turned out to be worth more than $1.2 million dollars.

I saw this prize unclaimed a few days ago and waited a bit, but the winner STILL has not come forward. The good news for them is they have quite a bit of time to pick themselves up off of the floor if they fainted when they realized they won. The deadline to claim this ticket is January 24, 2026, but if they don't know, that ticket could be just lying around somewhere. Can you imagine losing a ticket that could instantly retire you?
