20 Illinois Places With the Most UFO Sightings

Illinois has become a hotspot for sightings of unidentified flying objects especially in recent years. Why? There are many theories, but let's start with just the facts of the 20 places in the state where the most UFO sightings have been reported.

I would normally rely on the National UFO Reporting Center for data on official reports of unknown flying phenomena, but they don't produce a city-by-city breakdown. I did find two lists that do show the Illinois cities with the most UFO sightings. One is from Stacker and the other is UFOMYST. Here are the 20 places in the Land of Lincoln where UFO's are reported the most:

I want to be clear that I don't endorse whatever message UFO's are bringing. I suspect them to be nefarious in their intentions, but that's just my opinion. No matter what your perspective happens to be about unidentified flying objects and aliens, there's no denying that their appearances are becoming more frequent. I suspect that to continue until a major event will likely be in front of everyone's eyes sooner rather than later.
