Mystery Shopper Snags $50K at Missouri Walmart

Normally when you go shopping in a Missouri store, you come out with less money than you went in with. For one mystery shopper this week, it ended up being the other way around as someone walked into a Missouri Walmart store and won $50,000, but doesn't seem to know it yet.

This is the Walmart located at 1201 Grindstone Parkway in Columbia, Missouri. According to the Missouri Lottery, someone waltzed in this store on July 14, 2025 and walked out with a lotto ticket now worth $50,000.

Those 6 numbers coincide with a ticket that someone picked up at this Missouri Walmart a couple days ago and they are now 50 grand richer. The problem is they seem to be unaware as the Missouri Lottery has them on their unclaimed prizes page. While $50,000 isn't enough cash to retire on these days, it is a huge boost to someone's bank account during a time when many families need it. Is it you? The winning person has 6 months to step forward and claim their prize or this money goes into the Missouri Lottery education fund. If I were that person, I would want to know.
