Mystery: Missouri Woman Found Deceased from Gunshot Wounds in Car

It started with a Boone County sergeant being approached by a resident that thought a car had hit a home. What Missouri police learned was that the woman inside the vehicle next to the home was deceased from gunshot wounds.

The Boone County, Missouri Sheriff's Office shared this sad story on their Facebook page detailing what a sergeant found when investigating a possible vehicle hitting a home.

As of this writing, the identity of the 43-year-old Columbia woman has not been disclosed. The Boone County, Missouri police say this case is believed to be a homicide and is being investigated as such.
