2 in Missouri Won 50 Grand – Running Out of Time to Claim It

This is a case where procrastination could really cost you. There are two people in Missouri that have won $50,000, but are running out of time to claim their big money prizes.

According to the Missouri Lottery's unclaimed prizes page, you have 180 days after a winning ticket is drawn to claim it. Otherwise, it goes in the Missouri education fund. There are two winners who drew winning tickets back in September of 2024 who are running out of time to get their cash.

Fifty grand is nothing to laugh about. That's a huge payday for two people who I am guessing don't even know they have a winning ticket. If you knew you had a piece of paper in your vehicle just blowing around that was worth $50,000, you'd probably want to do something about that, right?
