You have likely never seen Chicago quite like this before. There is some newly-unearthed video which has been restored and upgraded to reveal what the Windy City was like in the early 1930's as Al Capone's era was coming to an end.

NASS on YouTube has just shared new video of the area of Chicago around 45th Street in Bronzeville on the South Side

I'm torn on whether I prefer the colorized video versus original black and white, but I am fascinated with the upgraded 60 frames-per-second remaster. That smoother video makes Chicago in the early 1930's seem to come alive. As history tells us, this would have been at the end of the Al Capone era of Chicago or perhaps just after he was jailed for tax evasion. No matter the exact year, this would have been the same Chicago that Capone and his fellow Chicagoans would have known nearly a century ago.
