Traffic in Quincy this year has been the worst. Sure, in the long run, the road work will make things better, but trying to navigate the city with so many projects happening at once has been a nightmare. And let’s be honest, certain intersections will still be frustrating even after all the construction is complete.

My daily challenge is navigating the four-way stop at 24th & Harrison. Since March, it’s been operating as a three-way stop, but now that all four lanes have reopened, I’m reminded once again just how much I dislike that intersection.

Finding the Silver Lining in Local Traffic

One day in the near future, I’m sure we’ll all get back to a Quincy without constant construction, delays, or street closures. Here I am complaining about it taking 10 minutes to get to work instead of seven, when in bigger cities it can take 30 minutes just to go two miles.
