What is The Most Famous House in Missouri?
Hard to pick just one because there are a few famous houses in the Show-Me State, but the experts at the Travel Channel have decided for us.
Most Famous House in Missouri
It's not the Governor's home, or a celebrity/athlete's home, but that of one of the famous outlaws in Missouri.
Jesse James
Yup, America's most famous outlaw has the most famous house in the state and it's located in St. Joesph. Travel Channel says, Today, the home has been moved behind the Patee House, where the Pony Express began, and is part of the Patee House Museum.
There is so much history in such a small home, it may not be a grand home, but it's a place that lives on in St. Jpoesph for years to come.

We have our own famous home here in the Tri-Satyeys, that is Samuel Clemons and we are lucky enough to be to visit it often, However, if you ever get a chance to explore St. Joesph you might want to out the Jesse Hoames Home on our bucket list.
