Missouri Zoo Welcomes Visitors to See Baby Elephant Debut
The St. Louis Zoo would like the public to finally meet its newest member of the Asian Elephant family, Jet.
Meet The Adorable Baby Elephant Jett
The long-awaited moment has finally arrived, baby elephant Jett made his public debut at the St. Louis Zoo. At just five months old, Jett is gradually exploring his outdoor play area alongside his mom and other family members.

Visitors can now catch glimpses of the young elephant as he begins making regular appearances in the River’s Edge area of the zoo. Jet, born to mom Jade, was delivered safely on November 23, 2024.
More Appearances to Come
There’s no official schedule yet for when Jet, the baby elephant, will be regularly visible to the public. For now, the team at the St. Louis Zoo is taking a gentle approach, giving the little guy time to adjust and explore his new surroundings at his own pace. Since his birth, Jet has gained 300 pounds and now tips the scales at 578.
