Do you know someone who goes hardcore when it comes to switching out hand soap when the season changes?

There are more people like this than you realize. Liquid soap companies have even begun producing seasonal hand soaps specifically to capitalize on those who want their hands (and bathrooms I guess) smelling like the world outside in any given season.

We change décor around the house seasonally. Candles, table runners, throw pillows and blankets. This is just an extension of that idea that engages more than sight and touch. Your sense of smell is powerful and can put you in good mood. Lean more fully into the season with either a handful of seasonal hand soaps, -or- if you have one that really completes the switch you could roll with it in as many bathrooms as you have.

The concept isn't bound by the state borders of Illinois and Missouri either. You can do this anywhere. There may even be regional fall scents that are a go to.  Also, I’m focusing on bathroom hand soaps but you could use these at any sink in your home. It’s your home, flex how you want at the kitchen sink and even the basement tub sink.

Your flowery, cucumber, citrus, coconut, light and delicate scented soaps are now officially out of season. Place them under the sink until next summer.

You’ll want to replace then with the warmer fall scents including: Apple Cider, fall leaves, cedar and lavender, cinnamon and yes pumpkin spice too.

These can work until December when you’ll want to switch to Christmas scents. Fir tree, mint, sugar cookie, cranberry, frankincense and myrrh, gingerbread etc.

Once you transition into the new year you can switch again, and then again into spring with linen, tulips or daisies. Then ironically rinse and repeat…!

You might be surprised how detailed these companies get with seasonal hand soap. Find a favorite brand or scent and elevate the changing seasons.
