Missouri Has 13 of the Worst Chain Restaurants in the Nation

With the state of many restaurants these days, especially chain ones, getting on a list like this is something I'm sure no chain business wants to be on.

Far and Wide put together a list of the top 10 worst chain restaurants in the nation, and before we dive into the number one there are a few on here that I disagree with.

Cheesecake Factory

The Cheesecake Factory comes in at number 10. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but I have never had a bad experience when I ate there. It's one of our favorite places to go, and you can't argue that the cheesecake is bad. I wish I could try all of them when we visit the restaurant.

Olive Garden

WHAT! Why is this on the list? Well, according to Far & Wide, Olive Garden is just ok and nothing really to scream about. They even say they are surprised Italy hasn't called them out for saying they are an "Italian Kitchen."

So what restaurant tops the list? Well, that "honor" goes to Golden Corral. Far & Wide says,

We love buffets as much as the next person, but Golden Corral is a bad idea all around. Why risk your gut health by eating at this chain when there are buffets that sell things like delicious Indian food?

Yikes, that's a bit harsh. Now look, everyone is entitled to their opinion and some people may not like these places, but if you love them they don't stop going because one article says that they are bad. In fact, because of this article the next time I am in St. Louis I might stop by a Cheesecake Factory and and a delicious meal.
