The Best Pumpkin Patches in the Tri-State Area
Now that the weather finally feels like fall, I’m sure many of you are planning a trip to your favorite local pumpkin patch. There’s one in particular that’s getting a lot of praise for being the best in Missouri, and it’s a must-visit this year.
Top Pumpkin Patch in Missouri
From corn mazes to pumpkins and apple pies, it’s officially feeling like fall with these cooler temps, and it’s definitely making me want to visit a pumpkin patch sooner rather than later. Reader’s Digest recently released a list of the best pumpkin patches in every state, and they picked Carolyn’s Country Cousins Pumpkin Patch in Liberty as Missouri’s top spot.

Family-Friendly Fall Activities
Just outside of Kansas City, you’ll find this family-favorite patch open through October 31st. It features a full-sized carousel, a replica 1863 railroad engine that takes visitors on a half-mile ride through tunnels and fields, and a petting area with animals ranging from pigs to bunnies. It’s no surprise it draws big crowds every fall season.
Tri-State Pumpkin Patch Options
If you can’t make the trip to Liberty, there are plenty of amazing pumpkin patches right here in the Tri-States. Harvestville Farms is celebrating 20 years in Donnellson, Iowa. We’ve also got Mill Creek Farm, Terripin Farm Stand, Windy Hills Farm & Pumpkin Patch, and Autumn Harvest Farm in West Quincy, all great spots to enjoy a fall day.

So, no matter where you and your family end up spending the weekend, it’s nice to know there are plenty of pumpkin patches, both near and far, to explore. Let’s just hope Mother Nature keeps these cooler temps (and the rain) away so we can all enjoy some time on the farm.
