St. Louis Cardinal World Series MVP Set to Help Quincy Kid Clinic

Each summer the St. Louis Cardinals host a Kid Clinic for youth with the help of some Cardinal alumni. This year, a former St. Louis 3rd Baseman will be in Quincy to help girls and boys with the clinic.

David Freese, former 3rd baseman and World Series MVP will be coming to Quincy to help with the Cardinals Kid Clinic on June 22. The clinic will occur from 12:30 until 5 pm at the Blessings Baseball Field in Moorman Park. Besides Freese, Scott Terry, Scott Cooper, Neil Fiala, Danny Cox, Pat Perry & Greg Mathews will also be at the Quincy location. Cardinals Kids Clinics offers small-group instruction on throwing, hitting, fielding, and baserunning from Cardinals alumni.

David Freese played with the St. Louis Cardinals from 2009 to 2013 and helped secure a World Series title in 2011 with his iconic game 6 home run.

Boys and girls from ages 7 through 13 can sign up for the camp to learn from some of the best who played the game. The register is open now and with the cost of the camp, each camper gets a Cardinals t-shirt and hat, a voucher for two games tickets to selected 2023 home games, a goodie bag, and autographed baseball cards signed by alumni instructors. Registration ends on June 20.
