I’ve only lived in Quincy for 20 years, which may sound like a long time, but there are still places I have yet to experience before I can truly call myself a Quincyan.

You Know You're From Quincy If...

While I didn’t grow up here, I’m now seeing Quincy through my kids as they get to experience what it’s like to grow up in The Gem City.

So, here are a few things that prove you really are from Quincy.

1) No Matter where you travel, you'll find someone from Quincy - whether it's a concert or at Disney, you will be able to spot at least one person from The Gem City.

2) If you don't get to travel much, then an ideal vacation for a true Quincyan is making a trip to Quinssippi Island (which I have never been to).

3) No matter how far you are away from the Bayview Bridge, you will travel over it to get cheap gas

4) You make a stop at Maid-Rite, Tower, Kelly's, or Quincy Brewing Company at least once a week.

5) All you need is a Church and a Picnic

6) No Matter if you like high school sports or not, you go to the biggest Crosstown Showdown Games in Quincy

Which ones did I miss? I'm sure there's a whole bunch that could be added to the list.
