Bids for Bargains Live Radio Auction to Continue

The Bids for Bargains on-air radio auction has been a fixture on KHMO for nearly three decades, and it will continue to be.

According to General Manager Dave Greene, there will be some online auctions atSeize the Deal in the future, "but the March and November Bids for Bargains auctions will remain live and on the air on KHMO."

There has been an on-air auction in July the last three years. That July auction will be replaced, for now, with an online Seize the Deal auction. But, again, the live auctions in the spring and fall will continue.

The Bids for Bargains radio auction has been arguably the most successful on-air auction in the area, giving listeners access to thousands of dollars of goods and services at around 50% of retail.
