Work Scheduled Sunday on 61 South of Hannibal

(HANNIBAL)—As weather permits… Ralls County Electric and Universal Cable Services crews will be temporarily stopping traffic on US 61 just south of Warren Barrett Sunday to install fiber optic cable across the road.

Work will be done near Selby Implement. You can expect delays of 10 to 15 minutes between 10 a.m. and 11:30 in the northbound lanes. Work in the southbound lanes is expected to start around 10:45 a.m.

MODOT says the work is scheduled on Sunday to avoid peak travel times.
