A Mississippi woman faces several charges for allegedly stealing a Missouri State Highway Patrol car and ramming it into two sheriff's department cars.

Charges were filed Monday against Jessica Diane Fox of Hernando, Miss. She is jailed on $75,000 cash-only bond.

New Madrid County, Mo., officers on Nov. 5 found the woman in a vehicle parked on an overpass near Interstate 55 and suspected she was on drugs. She was handcuffed and placed in a Highway Patrol car.

Sheriff Terry Stevens says the woman got out of the handcuffs and stole the patrol car, ramming a deputy's car as she drove away and another during the chase. The pursuit ended when the patrol car became stuck in a field.

Two deputies had minor injuries from the incident.
