Woman Shot During Altercation at Quincy Bar

Shots fired at the Twilight Zone in Quincy struck a female victim early Sunday morning. Quincy Police responded to the bar near 9^th and Hampshire just after 2:30 a.m. Officers discovered a woman had been shot in the legs. She was taken to Blessing Hospital where she was treated and released.

Witnesses told police an altercation broke out and while employees were escorting people out of the bar, a black male began shooting from across the street.

The case remains under investigation.
