Woman Escapes Serious Injury in Hannibal Rollover Accident

(Hannibal)—A New London resident escapes serious injury after her SUV rolls near Hannibal. 

The Missouri Highway Patrol says 41 year-old Julie Peters was traveling southbound on Highway 61 around 10:30 Saturday morning.  Her vehicle went out of control just south of the city limits near Red Devil Road.  The SUV struck a guardrail and overturned.

Peters suffered minor injuries and went by private auto to Hannibal Regional Hospital.

Troopers were assisted at the scene by Hannibal Police, the Ralls County Sheriff’s Department, the Hannibal Rural Fire Department, and Marion County EMS.
