Woman Dies After Medical Problem at the Adams County Jail

A woman is dead after having a medical emergency while being booked into the Adams County Jail.
Sheriff Brian VonderHaar says 38 year old Heather Riley was taken to jail Wednesday for possession of methamphetamine. Vonderhaar says Riley suffered a medical problem during the booking process and was taken to Blessing Hospital by ambulance. She was pronounced dead Thursday at the hospital by Adams County Coroner James Keller.
