Quincy Police make an arrest in connection with a stolen SUV being backed into a pond in Camp Point Tuesday.

Police report the arrest of 18 year old Trentasia Ball of Quincy.

The SUV had been stolen Saturday from a residence in the 1700 block of Monroe Street in Quincy.

Police were called to the golf course in Camp Point about 9 a.m. Tuesday and found the SUV in the pond at the golf course.

Ball told police she was trying to turn around and backed the SUV into the pond.

Ball has been charged with possession of a stolen vehicle. Two others who were with her at the time of the incident, 19 year old Tabitha Deverger and 26 year old Dreshawn Steele, remain free pending further investigation.
