Wires Arrested After Raid by West Central Illinois Task Force

A Quincy resident was arrested Friday afternoon at approximately 1:30 p.m., after a search warrant was served by members of the West Central Illinois Task Force.

Raphael A. Wires, age 27, of 3100 State Street, Apartment B24 was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Deliver, 30-500 grams.   Wires was arrested without incident and was transported to the Adams County Jail.

Seized during the search was Cannabis, packaging material, and digital scales.   The Department of Children and Family Services was contacted due to a child residing in the home.   The investigation is continuing and additional arrests are anticipated.  The Task Force was assisted with the warrant by the Quincy Police Department Patrol Division.

All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
