Friday’s wintry weather results in a number of traffic crashes in northeast Missouri.
At 8:20 a.m. a Jeep driven by 54 year old Susan Alkets of Dorsey, Illinois ran off the road and overturned on Highway 36 east of Lakenan in Shelby County.

Aljets was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

At 9:50 a.m., 44 year old Chad Wright of Columbia flipped his pick up on the ice covered roadway on Highway 19 northbound south of Perry.

Wright was taken to Audrain Medical Center in Mexico with minor injuries.

At 10:30 a.m., 44 year old Stroney Christopher of Mexico lost control of his car and overturned on Highway 19 south of Perry Junction.

Christopher was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital with minor injuries.

At 11:25 a.m., 48 year old Tina Splain of Louisiana was southbound on Highway 61 south of Route RA in Pike County when her pick up slid, ran off the road, struck a rock embankment and overturned.

No injury information was available.

And, 23 year old Landan Truelove of Bowling Green was northbound on Route C in Pike County at 12:33 p.m. when his pick up overturned.

Truelove was taken to Pike County Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
