Here it is again - your obligatory Friday review of weekend happenings:

There are a couple of old threshers' events in the area -- the NEMO Old Threshers' event at the Shelby County Fairgrounds in Shelbina, and the 43rd annual Lincoln County Old Threshers Association weekend at Walnut Grove Farm near Elsberry. Both events continue through Sunday.

The 3rd annual Rockin' Roddin' Reunion starts tonight on the Quincy riverfront, with the action moving to Quincy Raceways Saturday.

The 2nd annual Salt River Bash runs tonight through Sunday at P.O.P.S. Club south of Hannibal with a full weekend of activities. Proceeds go to charity.

The Hannibal Concert Association's first show of the season features Jim Curry with his John Denver tribute show. Show time is 7:30 p.m. at Roland Fine Arts Center on the HLGU campus.

There's an area wide flea market at the armory at Huckleberry Park Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The rescheduled Pyrofest 2012 fireworks spectacular happens Saturday at Shady Rest Campground on Highway 61 south. Gates open at 4, fireworks at dark. There will also be a fish fry.

The first of three Hannibal Dream Catchers softball games for special needs kids and adults is Saturday at 11 a.m. at Huckleberry Park.

The Curryville Community Betterment 2012 Harvest Festival runs 9-4 Saturday with vendors, a motorcycle show, live music, a dunking booth, a pie and cake show and little royalty.

There's a wood carving open house Saturday from 10-4 at the M.W. Boudreaux Memorial Visitors Center at Mark Twain Lake.

The first Terri Beck Memorial Golf Outing is Saturday at Arrowhead Golf Course in Camp Point, IL. Registration at 11, shotgun start at noon. Proceeds benefit the Relay for Life.
