The Swinkey Corn Maze is open for business every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through October 28. It's sponsored by the Indian Creek Knights of Columbus, five miles southwest of Monroe City on U.S. 24.

There's a one day clown training seminar at Mission Hill Baptist Church in Palmyra Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

There are several prescription drug take back opportunities from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Saturday. You can take your medications to Shopko in Palmyra, the Public Library in Canton, the Police Subpost in the Quincy Mall, and at Kroger's Pharmacy in the Huck Finn Shopping Center in Hannibal.

The Northeast Missouri Humane Society's annual fund raiser, "Walk Through the Jungle," is Saturday at the Mark Twain Cave Complex with registration at 9:30 a.m.

There's a fall foliage nature walk at Riverview Park in Hannibal at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Jackson Park Golf Course in Palmyra hosts a fund raising golf tournament Saturday, with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.

Northeast Independent Living Services hosts its 4th annual bowling fund raiser Saturday at 6 p.m. at Ten Pin Alleys in Hannibal.
