Visitors With Flu Like Symptoms Asked to Stay Away
Hannibal Regional Hospital is asking people experiencing flu like symptoms to refrain from visiting patients at the hospital.
Hospital officials say patients often have conditions that make them vulnerable to complications of influenza. Signs of influenza include fever or feeling feverish or chilly, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, muscle or body aches, headache and fatigue. Vomiting and diarrhea can also be a symptom but this is more common for children than adults.
