A one-vehicle crash in Ralls County results in trips to the hospital for three northeast Missouri teens. Missouri Troopers responded to the crash scene on Route F, five miles north of Vandalia at 8 p.m. Saturday.

The crash happened when 17 year-old Taylor Davis of Holts Summit lost control of her van on a curve. The vehicle ran off the roadway and struck a guy wire bracing a utility pole. The van then crashed into an embankment before coming to rest in a field.

Three passengers suffered minor injuries: 18 year-old Greg Cormier of New London and 15 year-old Rebecca Painter of Vandalia went by ambulance to Audrain Medical Center in Mexico. Sixteen-year-old Christina Smith of Middletown was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital.

Troopers say all occupants of the van were buckled up.
