Two Laddonia, Missouri residents are dead after a head-on collision in Marion County Saturday. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports the crash happened on US-61, ten miles north of Palmyra at 4:32 p.m.

Troopers say 73 year-old Maureen Young of Laddonia was traveling northbound on 61 when her SUV skidded off the roadway and crossed the median. The vehicle crashed head-on into an oncoming southbound pickup. It was driven by 53-year-old Daniel Prisner of LaGrange.

Marion County Coroner Darrell McCoy pronounced Young and a passenger, 74-year-old Howard Young, dead at the scene. Troopers report the Youngs were not buckled up at the time of the crash.
