Two Texans Arrested in LaBelle

A suspicious person report Wednesday in LaBelle results in two arrests.
Lewis County Sheriff’s deputies say they made contact with 34 year old Gayla Velasquez of Amarillo Texas and 32 year old Andrew Fisher of Lubbock and found they were in possession of a controlled substance. Velasquez is charged with possession of methamphetamine and is held in the Lewis County Jail on ten thousand dollars cash only bond. Fisher was arrested on an outstanding Texas warrant. Fisher is awaiting extradition.
