Two subjects were arrested in Hannibal on Thursday on warrants charges.

An officer with the Hannibal Police Department observed a vehicle with two occupants whom the officer believed had active arrest warrants. The officer located the vehicle in the 200 block of N 10th with the occupants no longer inside. He contacted and arrested Sonny Vincent (31 of Middletown, MO) who had an active warrant through Pike County, MO. During the search, a firearm was located in Vincent’s pocket.

The other occupant, Lance Moore (25 of Hannibal) was inside an apartment by himself. Officers received consent and entered the apartment after giving multiple commands for Moore to come outside, which were refused. He was arrested for two outstanding arrest warrants.

Vincent was transported to the Marion County Sheriff’s Department for an active warrant for possession of amphetamine. Charges will also be submitted to the Marion County Prosecutor for possession of firearm as felon. Moore was transported to the same facility for two outstanding Marion County warrants; one for possession of marijuana and one for a weapons offense. An additional charge will be submitted on Moore for resisting arrest.
