The Adams County Sheriff's Department says that two arrests have been made following a complaint from an elderly man in rural Fowler who claimed money and other valuables had been stolen from his residence.

Following the complaint, the sheriff's office conducted a surveillance detail on January 19, which led to a traffic stop and the arrests of two suspects: 35-year-old Leonna Cheney of Quincy and 34-year-old Raun Perrin of Quincy. Authorities say Cheney and Perrin were found in possession of stolen property and methamphetamine.

Both suspects were arrested for Financial Exploitation of the Elderly, Possession of Methamphetamine With Intent to Deliver and Theft, and both were lodged in the Adams County Jail without Bond.
