A Quincy woman and a Peoria man are in the Adams County Jail on meth related charges.

Agents with the West Central Illinois Task Force executed a search warrant at an apartment at 200 Maine Wednesday afternoon.

As a result, 44 year old Selena Stead of Quincy and 40 year old Anthony Buckner of Peoria were arrested for unlawful possession of methamphetamine. Stead was also arrested on an Adams County warrant for failure to appear on a disorderly conduct charge.

Court records indicate Stead was sentenced to twelve months conditional discharge last November on the disorderly conduct charge. She is currently out on bond on charges of unlawful delivery and possession of meth.

Buckner is on parole from the Illinois Department of Corrections for unlawful possession of meth.

Stead and Buckner are in the Adams County Jail.
