Two Liberty Businesses Burglarized, Vandalized

Adams County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating break-ins at two businesses in Liberty.

Mike’s Place restaurant and a neighboring auction house were broken into late Monday night or early Tuesday morning.

Media reports indicate change and small items were taken from the restaurant and metal wire was taken from the auction house.

There was significant damage to both buildings, with a double window broken and the drive-thru window damaged at Mike’s Place.

Apparently blood was found in the restaurant and there is surveillance video available.
