Missouri Highway Patrol troopers report two traffic crashes on Labor Day.

A Monroe City man is recovering from serious injuries following a motorcycle crash at 6:30 Monday evening. The Missouri Highway Patrol says 26-year-old Wade Harvey crossed the center line on Route F-F and hit an embankment. Troopers say he was thrown from the motorcycle. Harvey was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment.

A two vehicle crash at US 54 and Kelly Lane in Pike County at 1:05 Monday afternoon results in moderate injuries for a Bowling Green man. The Missouri Highway Patrol says a car driven by 20-year-old Austin Stewart of Bowling Green failed to yield and drove into the path of a pickup driven by 76-year-old Henry Bottema of Summer Hill Illinois. Troopers say Stewart was taken to Pike County Memorial Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
