Officers of the NEMO Task Force and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office conducted the raids Wednesday. A search warrant executed at 1514 Sierra Street netted heroin, meth, and drug paraphernalia. Ryan Thompson, Jessy Brown, and Randy Brown, Jr. were arrested at the scene. The Task Force arrested Samuel Foust a short time later at 1912 Chestnut Street. All four subjects were taken to the Marion County Jail on a 24-hour hold.

The Task Force also conducted a search at 2513 Fulton Avenue. That search resulted in a large amount of raw heroin, methadone and drug paraphernalia being seized.

Authorities say the amount of heroin seized could have produced 800 capsules, with an estimated street value of $8,000 to $12,000.

On Thursday, charges of possession with intent to deliver and sale of a controlled substance were filed against 31-year-old Samuel Foust. 32-year-old Ryan Thompson is facing possession charges. Both remain in the Marion County Jail.

A third suspect remains at large. A warrant has been issued for 33-year-old Joshua D. “JD” Foust of Hannibal. He faces possession with intent to deliver charges.  Authorities are asking anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact law enforcement.

Task Force officials say more arrests and charges may be pending.
