Two Hurt, One Ticketed in Adams County Crash

A Columbia, Missouri man is hurt and ticketed after a two vehicle crash on Highway 336 south of Loraine at 6:32 p.m. Sunday.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office reports a 16 year old juvenile from Carthage was northbound on 336 when he collided head on with a truck driven by 39 year old Leifthan Johnson of Columbia, who was southbound in the northbound lane. The impact caused Johnson’s truck to overturn several times, coming to rest on its side. Both Johnson and the juvenile had to be extricated from their vehicles.

Johnson and his passenger, 42 year old April Breshler of Quincy, were taken to Blessing Hospital with minor injuries. The juvenile refused treatment at the scene.

Johnson was ticketed for improper lane usage.
