A drug investigation results in the arrest of two Golden residents Thursday evening.

The Illinois State Police reports a drug purchase made outside the Adams County Courthouse resulted in the arrests of 25 year old Hanna Miller and 25 year old Lance Kelly a short time later in the 18th and Maine area.

A search of Miller and Kelly’s residence in Golden uncovered oxycodone and fentanyl patch packaging.

The two are charged with unlawful delivery and unlawful possession of oxycodone.

Miller is currently on probation for filing a false report to a public safety agency. Miller received 18 months’ probation in 2016 for making a false report of being stabbed at a business in Camp Point.

Miller and Kelly are lodged in the Adams County Jail.
