Two Louisiana residents will be arraigned today on theft and burglary charges. 32-year-old Terry Allen Welch and 31-year-old Bridgett Renea Hurshman are accused of stealing tools and equipment from a rural Louisiana home on November 21.

Authorities claim Hurshman told them that the two suspects allegedly traded the stolen goods with a Silex man for methamphetamine. Hurshman also is accused of an additional charge of burglary in connection with a reported theft on November 28. No other charges had been filed as of Tuesday afternoon.

Court records show both suspects were on probation at the time of their arrests.
