Two Domestic Assault Arrests in Adams County Friday
(Quincy) – Adams County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a residence on Rim Road at 8:29 p.m. Friday. They were advised that a three year old child had been struck in the face and the child’s father was being chased by a hammer wielding suspect.
Deputies arrived and took 45 year old David Hagan into custody without incident. Hagan is charged with domestic battery and aggravated assault.
(Camp Point) – Adams County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a residence in Camp Point Friday evening on a keep the peace detail. An investigation into reports of a one year old child with bruises and red marks leads to the arrest of 23 year old Andrew Gerdes of Camp Point. The injuries to the child did not require medical attention. Gerdes is lodged in the Adams County Jail.
