Two Dead in Callaway County Crash on US 54

A rollover crash on US 54 in Callaway County at 6 pm Sunday claims the lives of two Mexico Missouri residents and results in serious injuries for a Vandalia man.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says an SUV driven by 28-year-old David Fletcher of Mexico went off the highway, hit a culvert and overturned. Fletcher and a passenger—36-year-old Amanda Goff of Mexico died of injuries sustained in the crash. Another passenger—37-year-old Michael Fitch of Vandalia was taken to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of serious injuries. The crash report indicates none of the three vehicle occupants were wearing seat belts.
