A traffic stop by Ralls County Sheriff’s deputies along US 61 near Oceanwave Road at 7:43 Sunday evening results in two arrests.

As the deputy was confirming the driver and passenger’s identification and checking for outstanding warrants, the passenger fled on foot. A K9 unit from the Monroe City Police Department was brought in and they located 32-year-old Jewel Brawley of Vandalia in a nearby wooded area. Brawley was arrested on an active civil warrant.

The driver, 29-year-old Dustin Dye of Hannibal, is charged with driving while revoked and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies turned Dye over to Hannibal Police.
